Dance for this age group should be nothing but encouraging and imaginative- and that’s exactly what you’ll find our professional and nurturing teachers provide within our classes.

We have witnessed on numerous occasions little girls and boys that have clung to their parents side before classes feeling nervous, and bounded from them afterward bearing huge confident and happy smiles. We pride ourselves on our nurturing ability for this very special age group of children.

We strictly limit our class numbers to 16 only per class to ensure your child gets the attention and the experience they deserve.

Bertie Bear’s Preschool Ballet Academy

All aboard the Bertie Bear train for an imaginative and immersive way to introduce your child to Ballet! This is a specifically written programme in which your child will go on a different adventure with Bertie every week and learn the basics of Ballet through the storytelling of Bertie’s adventures. We have lots of props to help aid the imaginations of your budding Ballerinas become butterflies, fairies/wizards, soldiers and many more! Upon graduation of this programme (when your child completes reception), your child will receive a certificate and their very own Bertie to take home.

An incredibly fun introduction to Ballet that we recommend is started at 3 years of age, but can accept pupils as young as 2 years 10 months if the child is ready and the class teacher will assess this at your free taster.

Tiny Tappers

This class introduces your child to the wonderful world of Tap dance. Tap is a fantastic style to develop your child’s rhythm and coordination which are two of the main ingredients for dance, not to mention they love to make a lot of noise in the shoes! With fantastic props, sing along songs and lots of encouragement, your child will stamp hop and tap their way to being confident little tappers.

We recommend this class is started at 3 years of age, but can accept pupils as young as 2 years 10 months if the child is ready and the class teacher will assess this at your free taster.

Mini Movers

This is a super fun pop/street dance style class where your child will shake, jump and wiggle to their favourite pop tunes. No pressure, no set steps to learn, just music they’ll love and a teacher to encourage basic dance movement in a fun and exciting environment. Games to encourage rhythm and listening skills are also included within this class.
